Meet Dr. Lauren E. Jensen
LAUREN E. JENSEN, DDS, MS
Board Certified Endodontist
Dr. Jensen was born in Utah and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. She attended Harvard University and received her BS in Biology from Harvard in 2008. She subsequently attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, receiving her DDS in 2014, her certificate in endodontics in 2016, and her Master’s in oral science in 2017.
Following her graduation, Dr. Jensen remained at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and became a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics. She divided her time between patient care and didactic and clinical teaching, for both dental students and endodontic residents. She published her Masters’ research project in the Australian Endodontic Journal and achieved her board certification in endodontics by the American Board of Endodontics. Most significantly for Dr. Jensen, while at the University of Iowa, she met her husband, Chris (Dr. Friedl), with whom she now has the privilege of co-owning and practicing at Front Range Endodontics.
Dr. Jensen was an avid tennis player and won two state championship doubles titles while in high school. She enjoys physical activity of many kinds, is very family-oriented, and loves spending time with her husband, Chris. Like Chris, she feels privileged to be part of the Colorado Springs community.
